cutting away his fat does not cure him, i am almost sure he had a stomach induction? That is just truely amazing. I would love to see his blood test before and after reports and see how he feels as a person before and after. Even how he now sleeps. |

Proves that anyone who says they cannot lose weight, or that it is a disease is lying. Anyone can lose the weight, it is just a matter of willpower. There is no excuse for being grossly overweight.
A massive congratulations to that guy, basically debunks any excuse a fat person has for being too heavy. [thumbup] |

Some people even experience severe pain if they go without eating for even a matter of hours due to deficiencies in the body; you can't tell me that that's an easy thing to overcome. |

What about Anorexia or Bulimia ? Just because it's not a traditional "disease" doesn't mean that it's simply a case of saying "i'm going to lose weight today" I case isn't applicable to everyone in the same way that we all crave different things in our lifestyles. Over eating is not cause by a wish to look better or media pressure, but a lack of self motivation. Therefore is not directly comparable. |

Again, its a matter of willpower. It pains me to see these girls ( mainly ) who put themselves through the above. This is more caused by media pressure and the want to be a size "zero" |

They are all deemed pyschological problems, Over eating is also associated with media pressure but the opposite end of the spectrum. It's simply not the case that willpower will solve ALL cases of obesity. |

So if it is not willpower, how are you going to solve it? There is no instant "drug cure" that stops you eating. Even having your stomach stapled is not a sure fire way. You have to want to lose weight, if you don't have the determination you will always lose the battle. |

There are actual diseases and genetic tendencies which define our body fat. Some people can't get fit, it's in them. Others just eat and get fat. The worst is when you are genetically fat, you either get fat all around of just have one "big" part like waist, thighs and legs etc. |

Ever heard of anorectic drugs or gastric bypass surgery. |

There is no magic pill or magic surgery, fact. If it was that easy, nobody in the world would be overweight, they would just pop down to the local pharmacist and get a prescription. I would be all for a "magic pill" it would certainly reduce the pressure on hospitals due to lack of cases such as heart disease. |

it's just that some people need to have MORE willpower because some lose weight less quickly than others. So this guy proved that people who lose weight just as fast as he does, can lose weight indeed. |
