Anyone seen this?
http://maps.google.com/maps?tab=wl Theres only a few cities to use at the moment, but its scary what you can do. Zooming in on people, cars and buildings etc and then "walking" along the road in the photograph, and spinning around etc Just click "Street View" on the map (Link above) and zoom in on one of the blue roads. I'm sure you dont need instructions though ![]() |

Yeah, it's the first time I've been amazed by technology in a long time. I was looking at times square, a scene I've seen a million times, but this time I could go "hmm, I wonder what's down this street" and just go and have a look. Amazing.
Imagine, you're going on holiday to NY, you can check out the street your hotel is on, the area around it, where the shops are, the whole lot. Great stuff. [thumbup] |

Your zoomed in too far? I tried zooming in on Texas and then found the 'View Street' button went away. Zoom out and then click the 'View Street' button and it will show you several icons depicting a camera. Click on and then it allows you to place a human figure onto the blue streets thus enabling a street view
