I just couldn't decide, it's one among these:
- Dear Frankie (when Frankie tells the Stranger, "You... coming... back?"). ![]() - Tae Guk Gi: The Brotherhood of War. ![]() - The Patriot. When Benjamin Martin's daughter runs towards him crying, "Papa! Papa please don't go. I say anything, just tell me what you want me to say and I'll say it. Papa please don't go!" ![]() And I felt a knot in my throat at the end of "Ice Age" when the Baby is lookin' over his father's shoulder and secretly plays peek-a-boo one last time with Diego. ![]() |

I find a lot of Mayazaki films can make a lump appear in my throat. Like when Ashitaka has to leave his village and his sister gets upset (Princess Mononoke). And also in Porco Rosso when he tells the story of when all his comrades die and they all ascend into that massive ring of planes but he gets sent back to earth.

Don't think I've ever cried from a film since I was real little, but the climax in Last of the Mohicans got me close. Not because it was especially sad (well, it was quite), but just the music and imagery and everything just made it the most powerful cinematic moment I've ever watched.
Million Dollar Baby............ Made me depressed :P |
