Default THIS IS THE ONLY VALID REASON THAT STEVE McCLAREN CAN HAVE.
It was on the players minds all night that the clocks go forward tonight and some of the players were worried that they would forget and for long periods during the game they couldn`t concentrate as this was on their minds.

Apart from Rio Ferdinand and Rooney, they probably dont know what clocks are so they were just confused thinking about it.

Maybe they were confused as to why they are playing Israel in Euro qualifiers. Certainly confuses me

This takes me back to 06, when most of the english people on this forum were complaining about how bad Eriksson was.

At least they are guaranteed a win against Andorra....

Right?

Anyone think McClaren won't be manager by 2008?

Im not a huge huge football fan but one thing keeps crossing my mind. Everytime we get a new manager, we still never get anywhere, everyone says "oh its the manager, they are clueless and ****".... has anyone ever thought that.....

MAYBE ENGLAND JUST SUCK AS A TEAM, granted we've got some top class players but as a team they dont seem to do anything.... ever.

I thought he'd be gone within the year after he was appointed. If the FA looked at his Middlesbrough record they'd have seen he was an average manager. One top half in finish in 5 years, which is pretty poor given all the money he spent.

I hate his smug grin he puts on before matches, then enjoy seeing his clueless face at the final whistle.

I think they should just get rid of most of the players and get some new blood in there. People that are good, but aren't so famous that their celebraty life style has turned them into jackasses. A team of good people that actually work together will be better than a load of superstars that don't (just look at Real Madrid).
