Sucked to see Liverpool give it up so late.

Title is pretty much gone now. Only teams that might cause an issue for ManU would be Bolton and Chelsea, and thats only 6 points.

Well looks like Arsenal is just one point behind Liverpool.

Go Portsmuth (starts in 30 minutes live on TV)[thumbup]
...and IRRC Liverpool played 29 games and Arsenal only 27.

Mancs didn't deserve to win that game but oh well. They'll be saying goodbye to the CL tomorrow evening though. [thumbup]

IMO, the devils just got lucky. Throughout the game I thought Liverpool played better but ah well I guess.

At the same time however, as long as Chelsea stay behind Man Utd for the Barclays prem, i'm still somewhat happy.

If Man Utd can beat Liverpool at ANFIELD (The Fortress?) then Barcelona can

I think Liverpool were unlucky to lose on Saturday, though being a United fan I won't shed too many tears over it... After having to listen to commentators say things like "Chelsea didn't play well today but still won, that's the hallmark of a championship side", its about time some of that luck came our way.

I reckon Liverpool will get through to the next round of the CL, I think those two away goals are going to count for a lot. Barca lost the lead at the top of the Primera on Sunday, and with all the news of unrest in the dressing room, my money is on Liverpool to advance.

I'd like to think that Man United will see off Lille and progress, and I hope they do after the amount of moaning Lille have done since the first leg.

Yes Liverpool was unlucky but for Christ sake Man Utd scored 66 times in 29 games.
Luck? I don't think so.
