Personally I prefer DLP front projection on a large screen for movies and a small LCD for TV.

Make sure they have a good return policy according to the avsforum the Sharp Aquos tv's are having some banding problems right now.

The amount of people with this problem is pretty staggering. Awesome TV if you can get one without banding though.

Ah well - for the first year - the warranty is with the reseller & sharp have a reasonable dead pixel policy - so I should be able to return any faulty ones I get. If not - I'll just send it back under the distance selling act.

excellent. I can sit as far over to the side as possible with out standing behind the screen and it looks clear. I'm seriously amazed by this lcd, it compares closely to even the sony bravias. Just great. Only thing that's lacking is SD channels look pretty damn shitty, and as all LCD's are the black levels could be better.
