This was like a trance tune with a buildup but no explosion. It sort of just died out where hell should have been let loose. This isn't a critisism by any means, but I wonder why people kind of always expect that type of thing when in reality things just kind of go,gradually, slightly changing, building and then just.stop. [/semi-coherant thought of the day.] |

This may surprise you but there are bands that dynamically use more than 2 levels of sound. Most mainstream bands provide engineers/producers with the freedom to use the same compostional tricks that after a while become mind numbingly boring.
People have different thresholds of how many times they can listen to something and not become bored. Mine is pretty low unless I connect with the music somewhat. |

I always give music two minutes when I'm listening to new music. Two minutes to establish itself. To either start going somewhere, or to start to lay the foundations...
After two minutes, the music did something... gave me a headache. Seriously, did it have to be so high pitched? Minus the high pitched sound, I could probobly have really enjoyed that. ![]() |
