Looking for a SLR Camera
 

Hi & Happy new year! [xmasbiggrin]

I just got back from my new year party and my brother in law recently bought a Nikon D40. I played with it during the night and was really impressed. I currently have a Kodak Easyshare camera which is just a standard digital cam, no big deal. But now that I've used a much better camera I really don't want to come back to my old Kodak [rolleyes] [rofl]

I'm looking for a good camera under 1000$ Canadian. The Nikon D40 seems a good choice at 730$. But there's a dozen of models and I don't know which one to get. So if someone could inlight me I would really appreciate.
