Just someone wanting the best outcome to the race, Schumacher has had his time and now he needs to step aside. Alonso, if he wants to be big, needs to be a driver that is known to be able to beat the best driver from the past 10 years rather than be a driver who could only win when Schumacher retired.
So didn't Alonso's Drivers Championship victory last year count?

Good job by Ferrari, even though Renault had bad luck today (they couldn't even hold the champagne[rofl]).
Schumi did a great job with the Bridgestone tyres. I hope he wins this season, the last for him.
Either way, he is leaving racing with his head up and not getting killed (hopefully, 2 races to go).

EDIT: Does anyone know if Kubica's Engineer got injuried? He basically ran over him :S

yeha it showed him fly into the pits and overshoot his bit box from an overhead cam. then cut away maybe for adverts. maybe trying too hard after making that poor tyre change choice

No Shumi does not need to step aside at all.....although he is.

Whoever said that if you're successful you need to make way for new drivers.

Rofl at the ending, Button went crazy at the end making up 3 places [surrender] [rofl] I bet Heidfeld was steaming after Sato held him up at that corner, oh man!

Good race, perfect outcome for the neutral fan, equal on points with 2 to go!!

At the intermediate tyre stage, they changed only the fronts, not the rears. Though it is generally seen as best to leave all the tyres alone and wear them down to near slicks on a drying track.

yeh yer right. i think the explanation for what renault did was that his fronts were just knackered

Michael schumacher shows us why he is 7-time world champion. absolutely brilliant drive by schuey. congrats on his win, even though i hate ferrari. Renault really showed some promise though in the Chinese gP, hope this is a good sign for things to come in the next japan gp. it will definitely be an exciting finish 2 races to go.
