Another running milestone hit :)
On Sunday the 14th of October I'm leading a 4-person team in the Eindhoven marathon team event. My leg of the route is 11.1km.
Today I decided to essentially see how far I could get without stopping..... and I made 15km http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...s/biggrin1.gif: http://connect.garmin.com/activity/2...2U7rU.facebook (my furthest distance before this was 11.1km last weekend). Very pleased with my time for 15km (1:22:25), especially seeing as I've never run this distance before. It actually felt pretty good, as I still had a bit in the tank to speed up on the last km. My best time for the 11.1km distance is 1:00:30. On the 14th I really really want to get this under the hour if I can. |
Good luck on Sunday. I wish I hadn't stopped running. It feels like I could never start again 'cause my back, knees, and hips seem to hurt all the time.

Nice work man! Running takes a lot of dedication and heart.
My dad runs 10 miles a day, which is way more than I can, and he's 60 years old! |
