What you think is really worth squat. I probably have the most eclectic music taste of anyone I know, but I can't find any redeeming parts of that. |

You're really going to defend the crap that tinomen posted? I probably have the most eclectic music taste of anyone I know, but I can't find any redeeming parts of that. Listen to a part of this http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cO1VVONqL4U What do you think of that ? |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cO1VVONqL4U How does it have anything to do with the Fisher Price My First Guitar being played in Tinoman's video? |

It's nice. I wouldn't choose to listen to it very often, but it's very musical. The song Tinomen posted has the same qualities, it just sounds different. As in, it's still music. |

That's the thing, music, doesn't mean it has to sound "musical" as long as long as there is expression. |

You're arguing for the sake of it now. Lets not get into the semantics of what actually makes music, the point being argued was whether or not it sounds any good. It doesn't. Well, it is. If it good or not, that another story but I wouldn't trust your opinion since you are of the idea that it's not even music. --- Post Update --- I'm guessing by "eclectic" he really means whatever is popular at the moment. |

Nah, he means, whatever genre he thinks is acceptable as music. How would you possibly know what my reaction to any kind of music would be? Saying that, agreeing with Tinoman is never going to help your cause. --- Post Update --- I'm guessing by "eclectic" he really means whatever is popular at the moment. |

He should look up "no wave" and "noise rock", it's a specific movement against traditional musical structures, it's more about the "texture" of the sound. This is relevant lyrically to the op too, and it's made by the same person. Here she comes dressed in white Her mouth is filled with flames Her skin is black, her fingers trace The diamonds in her veins Here she comes down from the sun To wash this country clean Comes down for us, down from the dust To murder what remains Here she comes now dressed in red To heal this ruined race I know somewhere, where there's a god He's lying at her feet And we'll walk freely through the mountains and the trees And we'll breathe deep again where the air is pure and clean And we will drink freely from the milk of our revenge And we will break down the prison gates that keep you in So please show no pity as we come up from the ground And please remember as you kill us and cut us down That time will not wash clean the bloody face of history And someone will breathe here again and they will hate you for what you leave Here's another song from the same artist. |

Well, you dismissed the song Tinomen posted without giving it another thought, let alone another listen. How many times do you think I need to listen to something to know if I like it? More to the point, how many times have you shot your mouth off over things you have spent no time considering? A million? |
