We ought to all give thanks that Lester Young (aka The President or Prez) existed and made music. Without Prez, his tenor and his ideas, Jazz wouldn't function as the good music it's today. Pleased 100th Mr.Young. Born August 27, 1909 in Woodville Mississippi.
