 Hindi terms popular in English.
Nothing distinctive about that. You'll find lots of loan words from several languages. Simply take Arabic which among other terms contain, admiral, liquor, alchemy, adobe, algebra, formula, almanac, emerald, toolbox, artichoke, murderer, azimuth, azure... and that's only the A's http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...rds_in_English
