Lenny Breau resource - "One Long Tune"
I simply got this yesterday. http://vancouverjazz.com/tmp/breau.jpg One Long Tune: The Music and Life of Lenny Breau by Ron Forbes-Roberts I've just browse the first section, to date, but am already riveted. The writing is great. I love music bios that describe things in ways that are helpful or informative for people but are also comprehensible by non-players such as myself. Breau's life it self can also be of great interest and to date it seems just like the biographical history essential to comprehend his development as an artist and the private ups and downs that illuminate his art are authoritatively informed, as well. I know, it appears like I'm researching a book I've not really read, yet, but I needed to hip you all to it and am excited to have this. The writer, Ron Forbes-Roberts, is just a contributing editor to Acoustic Guitar journal and a citizen of Vancouver. Regional guitar good, Danny Casavant, is recognized for his help with the book, also. Linkhttp://www.assoc-amazon.ca/e/ir?t=vanjazz-20&l=ur2&o=15Amazon.ca Link
