Default Mountain Lion update revealed. Looking good. Airplay mirroring of Mac to Apple TV.
Let the flames cometh.

I hate Lion, and I can't imagine that passing the torch to it's altitude enjoying cousin is going to help matters much.

I won't go into it as a) opinions that don't conform are not allowed here, and b) it's probably just personal preference.

To be honest I wasn't impressed either, uninstalled it for my Macbook Pro and put on Snow Leopard. Couldn't stand the new Mail. I am however interested in this Airplay feature and iMessage. Certainly won't be upgrading in a hurry though.

I can't see iMessage being much use to me. I have it on my iPad already and never use it. My phone is the only platform I use for sending SMS style messages.

We use outlook at work so I've never tried mail. When I get time I'll be downgrading to SL from Lion.

And you have the effrontery to call my contributions to threads useless? [rofl][rofl][rofl]

This thread is about Mountain Lion, I now have it installed on one of my work machines and am trying it out. That is pertinent to the thread, unlike your nonsensical comment.

You really are self-involved. Your original comment was purely to show off and you know it. Telling people you're about to install some software when the discussion is about that software is like saying you're thinking of buying a ferrari when the owners club is in the pub with you.

Oh deary, reeeeelax, please, it is an OS and probably not that desired anyway. I mentioned it in case anyone had any questions.

No you didn't. There is nothing wrong with boasting a bit from time to time and everyone does it, but at least admit it when you're called on it.

You are welcome to your opinion but realize that it is only exactly that.

[rofl] K

Anyway, for an early build it feels nice and snappy compared to Lion on the same machine. I like the integration of the notification system and the choice to use banners or alerts for IMs, calendar reminders, and email. Basically the system is polished version of Growl.

I would like to try AirPlay but the software on the AppleTV doesn't support it yet.
