Mitt Romney supported gay marriage before he became against it.

As George Carlin once said:

This is the best we can do, folks. This is what our country has to offer. Garbage in, garbage out.

Are you all having fun in your circlejerk thread? We can play the same game with Obama, if you like. So how about that Guantanamo, guys? Or the whole "if unemployment is over 7% by the end of my next term, I deserve to be a one term president"? Etc.
There is a reason why you don't wade into the midst of a circle jerk.

Yeah, not Obama and not Romney would have been preferred in a candidate.

Of course he deserves to be a one term president. Problem is, Romney doesn't deserve to be president at all.

Perhaps we need more dollars of free speech. If we just keep adding more and more free speech dollars I'm sure we'll get better outcomes.
Something tells me that theory will be tested in the coming years.

That would depend on your definition of "is".

Bill Gates would probably be a pretty good president. Seriously, why not? He seems like a smart dude who gets stuff done.
I can see the attack ads now:

"College drop-out"
"Spent millions of tax-exempt dollars overseas" (Africa aid)
"Windows ME"

...though that last one might actually be fair.

Bain Capital havent produced ****. They make money off other peoples companies and labour. You can argue that some of those companies would have ceased to exist without Bains reorganization and that would be fair enough, but don't make out like Romney has created anything of value, because he hasnt.

Depends on your definition of value. It's certainly a pretty shitty qualification for running a country.

The famine was largely a product of import restrictions designed to protect local farmers.
