Do you use any mods? (there are historical ones which make the game even better than Vanilla)

Last year I replayed the entire SSI Gold Box series of AD&D games. Those games are still a lot of fun.

AH is doing it wrong if he's not playing Rome Total War with Roma Surrectum II.

Nothing doctored there. I just paused my battles, got a nice angle and took the screenshots. The game really looks that much better.

Do you see how much better the game looks? Get good with mods.

I moved on to Medeival 2 Total War, Empire Total War, Napoleon Total War and Shogun 2 Total War.

Are all the Total War's rts?

All Total Wars are a mix of TBS and RTS...
while the strategic turns (i.e. managing your country, moving your armies (and other units) takes place in an TBS manner, all battles take place as RTS

It's a team that worked on it and nope. They didn't make a Medieval version.

You can say that again!

It's good, but a bit meh. I can't seem to get the feel of units in battles... it used to be that attacking a militia-level unit that is already engaged in a melee from the back was almost a guaranteed rout, but I've had several of those that lasted until the attacked unit was almost dead.
