Islam comes too late on the tech tree.

Afghanistan is so peaceful.

http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...s/neeschud.gif Even in Civ, Arabs and Muslims are two different things. I'm usually a Hindu or a Jew in Civ, regardless of who I'm playing as. Divine Right comes really late and doesn't give you anything absolutely essential. Spiral Minaret is nice for bonus cash, and I guess Versailles would be really useful if I didn't generally go commie, but...ehh.

No, that would be the Fast Worker. A solid economic advantage that starts on the first turn and lasts to the end of the game > a much stronger swordsman. Rapid construction gives you the edge in any situation.

You don't start with a worker on the first turn. Liar. http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...s/rolleyes.gif
Throw him off a helicopter.

I've always marveled at the acid industry in Muslim countries. If I wanted to throw acid in the face of a woman who refused to marry me then I wouldn't even know where to look for the stuff, and yet every year hundreds of spurned Muslim men manage to get their hands on enough acid to let them defend their honor by maiming/killing somebody. Do they just visit the local sulfuric acid vendor or something? Shouldn't they require an acid license?

Car batteries. Where do you top them up?

So... How's your ex-wife (and your car for that matter) doing? http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ilies/wink.gif

What do you do with those workers when you've roaded and railroaded the **** out of everything?
Send them to conquered territory and replace the POS mines and such the AI players insist on building with high-quality windmills and other, more sensible projects--along with building railroads there, of course. What do you do with your Praetorians when you or the enemy have advanced to the Renaissance?

Well, typically put them in scenic locations where they look nice standing there.

Don't evade the question!

Do you use them as statuary or not?

How would you get such a licence? Perhaps they could do some kind of test with a really punny name?

Anyway, we should probably say "something special or peaceful habit" about ourselves, out of deference to the OP.

...I like naps. That's a peaceful habit, right?

And it already has been established by the arabs ...

Not for land units ...
but stacking will be allowed for sea transports, so that you donīt have to cover the whole ocean with transport ships, if you want to invade another continent (also making your invasion convoy better escortable).

On land 1 UPT still is in force,
but according to all I read they will incorporate a lot of changes to combat ...
for example increasing the number of hitpoints, so that land battles last longer (giving you (or the enemy) more time to bring in reinforcements.

There's no such game as "Civ V." Like the planned third Matrix movie and that "prequel" idea George Lucas used to kick around, it never panned out and we're left dreaming how awesome it would have been.
