Default Six murders in Philadelphia first day of the year
Given the murder rate here of 0.0 per 100,000 (with a population of less than 7000), I'm guessing it wasn't a lot...

That's a drop in the bucket. At this pace they'll only have taken out ~2000 Philadelphians by the end of the year. They're going to breed faster than that.

Hold on, I noticed the "six murders" involved seven deaths. Still a drop in the bucket however.

So technically there were five murders on the first day of the year. Philadelphians are both murderers and exaggerators

5 as of 11:53 AM... as in this morning. There may have been more since.

I think you're right, and now that I look more closely the first one was before midnight so it doesn't count either. Only three people died on New Years' Day, and one of them died of a stab wound a few minutes after midnight so I guess the murder technically didn't happen that day. It looks like only two actual murders happened that day. Lame

I was kinda bummed by the thread thinking of the baby Jesus crying, and then

what I really like is the guy who was shot "six to nine times".

That is one lazy ****ing pathologist

Chicago (pop. 2.7 million) had its first murder of 2012 in the early hours of January 2nd. Gang-related.

Apparently, we got through NYE without any.
Ours was on Jan 2 too. A former boyfriend decided to kill his ex-girlfriend and her brother (whose house she was staying at) after which he killed himself. If you want to blow your brains out then just do it but don't take innocent people with you.

But Mogadishu doesn't have Alby, so it wins out.

We had 4 for all of last year, that's for ~250000 people.

The girlfriend wasn't a navy pilot (her brother and ex were though). That's not unusual given the number of military bases here. Despite everything it's still very much a military town.
Like I said, TWO Navy pilots. Did I say three? Why you mention the girlfriend?

Last month they had another military domestic murder-suicide case here with some Marine who had been on multiple combat tours to Iraq & Afghanistan, he got orders to go on another tour, his wife said she couldn't stand him never being home any more and wanted a divorce, so he snapped killing her then killing himself after a long stand off with the SWAT team. I honestly think PTSD had something to do with that case but that's just a hunch. The couple's infant child was home when the father killed his wife & then himself while the couple's elementary school aged child was at school. Talk about a ****ed up situation.

Why is googling coming up with nothing? I'm googleing San Diego Marine murder. November 8th, 2011, a Marine was killed by another Marine at Camp Pendleton.

Then I know from last year, there was an Arizona Marine who was killed by SWAT teams while his infant child was in the house.

Women ****ing suck that's the **** why.

I know a guy. He went to OCS for a 6-week course. Came back and his girlfriend (whom he thought he was going to marry after graduating college) had cheated on him. She said she couldn't handle him being gone for SIX ****ING WEEKS.

Sluts gonna slut.
She couldn't stand him being gone all the time you insensitive *****.

Long distance relationships often don't work, is that news to you?

I wish I was gay. I'm just not attracted to men whatsoever. Sucks.
