Default SUCK IT EUROPE!!!!!
Americans being European degenerates, we Europeans are happy to report the mother countries still being superior.

Antidepressant use in U.S.: 10.12%
in Europe: 3%

ACK!
Where did you get 3% from that link? That would be .03 prescriptions per inhabitant, right? All of the countries listed had more than that.

I don't know. I'd take this with a grain of salt. These studies are great for funding. The bigger the problem the more funding to study it, yes?
Salt contributes to heart desease.

Antidepressant use is not necessarily an indicator of mental illness. I bet BK doesn't take antidepressants.

Anti-depressants have other uses. Some of them can be used to treat Migraine headaches, obesity, attention deficit disorder, insomnia, anxiety or chronic pain. Also bear in mind that many people may be taking more than one anti-depressant at a time.

Here's some more depressing statistics: According to a recent UN survey 20% of the world suffers from chronic pain. In the US 139 million people are taking medication to releive pain - that's almost 40% of the population.

Admitting you have a problem is the first step in getting better.

Likely but I still think that the percentage doesn't necessarily prove which country has a higher percentage of mentally ill in it.
