Default What do you think its worth?
Decided to upgrade my receiver, so i'm selling my old one. Upgrading to a Onkyo SR608, I currently have a SR605.

The SR608 is already purchased and arrives tomorrow.

Onkyo is good, though I know there are are other brands also as good such as Denon....etc..

But, through work I get a healthy discount on panasonic and onkyo products.

Onkyo SR605 receiver, prefect condition, includes the remote, auddessy setup mic, manual, remote code manuel, original box and packing material. Basically if it came with it brand new, then I still have it.

Phsyically the unit is in perfect condition, still has the screen protector on the front face plate too, never removed it, so not even a scratch. Never been run near max either.

So what do you think its worth?

I'm currently asking about $175 in my ads.

That seems to be a fair price, good luck with the sale!

Just wanted to post one of the emails I received about this receiver. It made me laugh at this guy's arrogance.

Nice unit. I'm looking for black so I'd have to get this one for $100 to have to live with the silver. Let me know if interested, I can pick it up either tonight or tomorrow. Its such an inconvenience to live with a silver receiver when it doesn't impact the performance of it at all.

Its already more than 50% off the original price I paid.

Needless to say, I simply deleted his email and added it to the black list.

Craigslist low ballers are funny.

You should have told him to buy a can of black paint at HomeDepot.

If it weren't for the fact that it doesn't support 3d, I would have KEPT this receiver and not bothered upgrading. But I want a 3D TV next year, and I had the money now. Plus, I had more components that could use HDMI. So I upgraded, now my TV basically gets monitor duty. It only has a single DVI port in use from the receiver.

Even the HTPC runs through HDMI. I also built an older machine up, and got NFS: Porsche unleased working on it with the 5.1 card. Sounds awesome, and its so much fun ripping through schwartzwald, and the Autobahn track. NFS:PU had some awesome point to point tracks.
