What does "empty stomach" really mean?

It means that without any food in there, the starved enzymes in your stomach begin devouring your own body. If you toss them some Ibuprofen it should delay the end, but not for long (those are small pills).

No no, that's paracetamol or whatever it is you call it in your province.

NSAIDs attack the stomach lining, but really not if you're healthy otherwise. And I repeat myself.

Ibuprofen (aka Advil) is bloody rough on your liver.

Avoid it if you like your booze.

I don't get along with Ibuprofen at the best of times (it tends to make me feel like **** even while it takes away muscular aches) but I have noticed that it's a hell of a lot harder on my body when I'm drinking than when I'm not.
