Congratulations again. We need more smart people to have babies. We must counter the trend toward an Idiocracy!

Well it looks like I'll never be a father myself. Not now I have been through the full body scanner at Manchester Airport.

Congratulations http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ilies/wink.gif

I have no idea how to cope with the situation either. I guess it will just happen. Last night I didn't sleep really that much so I guess it won't change for quite some time now.

PH, don't worry, I've been through all kinds of scanners in the last 2 years, including airport and hospital scanners, you'll be fine! It's like... I've had sex twice almost and it seems like everytime I have sex, I get a kid.

You'll go insane but probably for the best to get the insanity over with. Having them spaced out too much isn't too much fun either...

Can get a goddam vasectomy http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ilies/wink.gif
Insanity is only a state of mind.

Vasectomy, yeah. I have a hammer at home so maybe I'll do it cheap. Not like I need it anymore anyway...

Oh no!

Thank God no! No octomom or even bimom, just monomom.

One more is enough thank you http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/smile.gif

SC scores again http://www.discussworldissues.com/im...ons/icon14.gif And people, remember that SC doesn't get a vasectomy. If a vasectomy ever gets lucky it gets SC...

Good timing to raise this thread, I just came back from ultra... and everything looks completely normal. Of course that's what you expect but unfortunately many times there are worries. Being somewhat "used" to hospitals by now, you get nervous. Second kid is a huge deal! First is of course first, but second is a brother or a sister, a friend, a sort of like insurance in a way. Insurance, for example if something would happen to us parents, they would have each other.

The worst thought I've had is that I get sick and my kid is left alone to deal with it. So that's now avoided! http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/smile.gif

Plus, with the first one, there's lot more reasons to be nervous, now it's more pure happiness. I'm really waiting for it to come out, it'll be 7 more months... And yeah, I might like 1 or 2 more. We'll see what happens after the reality sets in with the 2 first ones.

Both of the times my wife and I decided to have kids I managed to nail one of her eggs within a month's time. Nice to know we have another marksman on the forum.

Congrats, L.

Yes, it's about time those of us who aren't perpetuating the misery of human existence get to clap each other on the back now and again. http://www.discussworldissues.com/im...ons/icon14.gif
