plot as I remember it. God kicks Angel out of heaven for defying him. Angel finds woman he was supposed to kill (gods orders) and decides instead to protect her, and her unborn baby(god wanted the baby dead). Woman works in truckstop in middle of desert. Angel and truckstop patrons fight off hordes of humans controlled by angels that can morph into who the eff knows. Eventually, God realizes he lost his way and decides to once again become the christain god of forgiveness, because the Angel he kicked out showed him the error of his way.

yeah, haven't seen the movie, but kind of a funny story, I was on XBL with my 12 year old nephew watching movie previews, and the trailer showed that granny part, and it scared the crap out of him. I jumped back too to be honest. It was a pretty good laugh....but pretty shocking in a trailer, nevertheless.

Mr Jennifer Connolly is usually quite good - but that doesn't mean the director and script don't suck - and not in a good way!
TBH, though, I can't see what the point is of the plot - surely GOD could wipe out humanity with just a thought?

i've had a crush on Jennifer Connolly since The Labyrinth. she is about 3 years older than me, so even as young as she was then, she was still an older woman! She has aged very well, from career opportunities to now she has been yummy at every stage.

same here. I remember seeing her in The Rocketeer when I was in middle school or something, and thinking she was beautiful. I saw that movie not long ago in HD, and I must say, she was astoundingly beautiful. Maybe the hottest actress I've ever seen.

eff that, Except for ASS to ASS scene (wasn't even her) that movie just makes me want to wash. Inventing the abbots is much better imo.

If I were her hubby I would have one of these installed in the house, with a big bag of quarters.
