Nope, no other car makers in the world have taken design ideas from other makers. Except for us Americans of course. Thank you for pointing this out. Us Brits have had a few shaky relationships with re-badging as well. I don't know where it comes from though....is it originally British and then rebadged as a Chevy for the NA market? Or is it originally a Chevy and rebadged as Vauxhall for the UK/EU market? Or does it come from even further away than that? lol AFAIK it has only really been GM that does it a lot. Holden Monaro to Vauxhall Monaro to Pontiac GTO when it finally hits our shores. Not like I'm an expert on the topic at all. Don't care enough TBH as I don't buy domestic vehicles at all, ever. Edit: I remember working at a GM dealership quite a few years back right as the "Optra 5" or whatever came out for Chevy. I quickly learned it was because GM had just bought some Daewoo factories or something and pretty much the entire new line were just rebadged Daewoos. I found that amusing. |

Actually, a lot of ford's are made in Canadia, I always laugh when people say "buy domestic", that term has no meaning any more. Are they actually designed in Canada by Canadians though? Or actually American designed but just manufactured here? If we are actually designing and building them now, that's pretty cool. Truth about buying domestic, pretty much everything is imported now. They just stamp whatever domestic brand name on it and say it is domestic. I actually got some canned goods recently that said "Product of Canada" on it but if you actually read the various fineprint, it is just canned in Canada and is actually made in various southern states, and Mexico, so I think only the can itself is a product of Canada ![]() Dang this is pretty off topic now isn't it. |

Haha, my friend calls it Canadia as well. ![]() Truth about buying domestic, pretty much everything is imported now. They just stamp whatever domestic brand name on it and say it is domestic. I would look at product labels and see a lot of "Product of the United states", or similar wording. |

I am not a fan of the car to be honest, but I will admit: Kyros is a looney tune. If ever you are bullied or teased at school about something, the best thing to do was make fun of yourself over the same reason, then you'd be bullied no more. This obviously does not apply on these forums. |

Subaru, Toyota and now Scion. How long are they going to milk this? Lexus next? Its not the first time Subaru has partnered up with somebody. The 9-2x Aero is a WRX in disguise. |
