Youtube is devolving.
At least, this interface is. In olden times there was a TON of content I actually WANTED to see on the home page.
Now? This latest change? Ugh. I've got this stupid side bar on the right side for "recommended subscriptions" Really? If I want to subscribe I'll subscribe! So now there is this HUGE post for each "recommended" video detailing its life story and why it was recommended. Does all of this information need to be on the front page? Why not put it in the some place AFTER you click on the video. Or make it pop-up as a hint when you hover a mouse over it. Either way, I'd rather see the grid style layout back. Can someone open a site that destroys Youtube? Cause it now sucks, and sadly there isn't much better in Town. That is all, just pissed at Google. It seams every interface "upgrade" they make is really just a downgrade. |
What I liked, a few months back, I commented on a video and a helpful little popup came up to remind me that I have my very own youtube channel!
I'd have forgotten otherwise maybe? |
