i think Will won that one.

Back on topic - 20 killed, 5 million without power and $7 billion in damage so far...
Most damage from the storm was confined to the Carolinas, and the 20 killed were mostly Darwin Award winners who refused to evacuate coastal regions.

Arrogant ******* is a good beer but I think its put up on a pedestal around here, have you guys ever tried their Ruination IPA or the Russian Imperial Stout? Now, those are some beers. Then again opinions are like a**holes...

I love Ruination and Sam Smith's imperial stout, but they lack flavor complexity of Arrogant *******, which should be served very lightly chilled, almost room temp to fully appreciate.

I'm not a huge fan of Sam Smith's IRS, Stone's is much more complex and bold. Don't get me wrong, I really like Arrogant *******, but it seems to have become a "trendy" beer to drink within the FM walls. I've had their Oaked AB a couple times, and I prefer it over regular AB, by a narrow margin, but not enough to justify the huge price increase.

Personally I've been on a rye beer kick as of late, Bear Republic's Hop Rod Rye is one of the best beers I've ever had, I highly recommend it.

AB has become trendy on FM because I've been praising it on here for years and my message has finally caught on. (I was the one who introduced it to Will).

I haven't tried Beer Republic's brews. I'll look for it next time I'm in the Bowery Whole Foods beer room.

I think it was introduced to most of us first by Hallowed_Point. At least that's the case for myself. And yes, Ruination is good. I also really like the Smoked Porter... I once marinated a roast in it, and it was fantastic. I'm a fan of stouts, so I am devastated that my local liquor stores don't offer the Imperial Stout.

What i don't understand is how Steam apparently knows it needs to update when it doesn't have a connection to check?

15.5 Degrees Celcius like any other strong ale or stout.

I was asking myself the same thing but who gives a **** ?

I'm in love with Duvel or some Hobgoblin when I want something darker.

Honestly, this has pissed me off more times than I can count. I lived in an extremely rural area for a few years, and this would happen a few times a month. I had a 1.5mb down and whatever decided to come up connection. I didn't have options, I was actually really happy to have some form of broadband. It was unreliable though, it would randomly cut out a few times a month, and I would deal with this crap. It's my only issue with Steam, have a freakin DRM clock or something, that would have been great.

Actually, it's probably most likely due to Phil's love of AB... I know it's how I first got introduced to it 6+ years ago.

Now, if we were discussing white flags, that's all you... [yes]
