Isn't it more likely he was simply cut off?

Yeah more than likely cut off and then somehow erased from the logs. Disgruntled employee I guess or someone who's shift ended during the call and the log wasn't reported properly. Who knows.

All the customer had to do was hang up and call again really, it has happened to me before when calling my internet service provider, etc.

Perhaps he was waiting for an Olympic flight ticket,I wonder if he mowed the lawn in that time too http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...es/tongue1.gif

Anyone stupid enough not to hang up and try again shouldn't be flying anyway.

It must be nice to live in a country with nearly zero turmoil where articles such as this make headlines. It was humorous to visit Sydney, and a local political race involved smear campaigns with local drinking as the hot topic. There was even a "hot news at 7" program on TV that reported on an in depth study involving Gatorade causing dental cavities. I felt like I was in a Dr Seuss book.

I live in America, a country that creates a lot of turmoil but only reports on the sexual appetite of its celebrities.
