OHP is a serving member of the Royal Air Force and as such is in the position to laugh at broken toys. In this case a Fairchild A-10 has injested a blade , thus destroying the engine , and currently it is sitting at his current Royal Air Force Station awaiting a new engine so it can bugger orf.....

I never played that one, but this thread inspired me to "dust off" my copy of DCS A-10 and play it a bit today.

GREAT game if you have the time to learn a true Sim game. Not for the arcadey-type gamers!

There're a handful of Warthogs flying/based out of Middle River w/ the MD Air National Guard... Flew over our old apartment all the time, now I can watch them getting ready to land! http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/cool1.gif

Had a few opportunities to see those giants test-fire... Where I used to work a few years back manufactured the DU rounds; good times when the hippies would show up to protest every so often! http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...s/excited1.gif
