IMO Obama is going to hit him again and again on this issue. It will be one of the main reasons that Romney's campaign will be a dud. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ceHhR...eature=related |

I find it ironic that the richer people get, the less they feel the need to pay taxes. Lets be realistic yes theyed be paying a lot of tax, but if youre paying that much tax you already have more money than you could probably spend.
Yet, the obscenely rich dodge so much of tax and rarely get punished due to the fact that they are well connected and can also pay huge sums to clever individuals who can keep finding the loop holes. The tax from the lower and middle high income people and companies actually is what supports the very system that allows the super-rich to make that much money in the first place. And as soon as any government or politician makes a statement to make those people more accountable for paying tax then they play the "communist" or "socialist" card well knowing that the fact that they have to pay more tax has NOTHING to do with communism...but as soon as you say that word you have millions of brainwashed uneducated behind you. It only hurts those very poor people though, since when the economy is in a downturn the tax burden falls on them and the cycle continues since in an economic downturn the already rich have the money to do the business that the average people simply cant get finance for. |

He is hitting him again on stuff that doesn't matter because he knows he doesn't have a record to run on or any plan to improved our economy. I could care less about Mitt Romney s Money or Obama's for that matter. I only care what they are going to do to get this country back on track. |

Regardless if it matters or not, it's an effective tool to utilize. This just isn't the Republicans' year; they have a lackluster candidate going up against grounded Democratic base. As soon as the Republican party sheds that tea party monstrosity the quicker they will get back on track. You gotta admit this man is the biggest hypocrite ever ![]() |

Tax evasion should be punished by death? Pretned you're a homicidal maniac. You want to go down in history for murdering a whole lot of people. Your available targets: Some random nobodies in a movie theater. The world's richest people who are destroying everything for everyone. I know who I'd rather put bullets into, and who I'd be more famous for killing. EDIT: Point #2 Assuming the £13tn mountain of assets earned an average 3% a year for its owners, and governments were able to tax that income at 30%, it would generate a bumper £121bn in revenues – more than rich countries spend on aid to the developing world each year. Think of how much money has been pulled from 3rd world countries, and how many people have died of disease and starvation as a direct result? I think at some point, tax evasion equals murder. At the point hinted at in this article, it damn near equals genocide. Punishable by death? Why wouldn't it be, really? |
