Apparently he told one of the girls at the party that he killed a few people while in prison, seriously what a knob! I'm not sure if he was ever in prison, but my BS meter reads 11.

He's obviously a bit unhinged. I'd start taking him seriously if I were you. I don't mean be scared of him, just don't antagonise him by laughing at him.

Good points, but my point was that you can't assume it's only the bullying cowards that hit women. Sadly these days there are too many blokes that think it's acceptable to hit a girl.

Saying that....girls these days are nasty and some of them will happily start a fight with a bloke. In that case you really don't have much choice but to punch them back unless you want to have your head kicked in. Especially the ones that do martial arts.

Total BS of course, he wouldn't be out now if he'd killed people in prison. Personally, i don't think you should have left it, you should have texted her back and said you wont be hanging out with her any more, since her BF tried to hit you and gave you loads of sh!t after being good enough to give him a lift home. Tell her that you didn't do anything this time, because he was very drunk and she's your friend, but if you did all hang out together again and he decides to start trouble, you wouldn't be so kind next time, so you think it's for the best if you just stay away from each from now on, especially since her BF thinks something is going on between you both.

If she likes you, her response will make it obvious.
