Why are you guys keeping on about AIDS?
There are numerous other STDs (or whatever they're calling them now) that a foreskin may alow to develop compared to a baldy.

That said, the proponents of the practice don't seem to be considering the infections that can arise from the cutting and the very real risk of a mistake damaging the penis, possibly causing impotence or severe discomfort when in the erect state.

My old feller has a cap and, as far as I'm concerned, he's keeping it - if it was really a surplus bit of skin that was a breeding site of disease, I would expect natural selection to have got rid of it.

Did you hear about the short-sighted circumciser?

He got the sack.

Circumcision jokes are all very funny, but there is a cut off point.

Well, I have no memory of my circumcision since I was a baby when it happened. I'm glad I had one, but there's no way I'd go through with it as an adult. So yeah, pretty happy it happened to me. I guess that makes me "pro infant genital mutilation"?

Maybe he's planning to go to South Africa on a sex holiday and he's allergic to condoms.

Unless you've had it done, I'm failing to see your point.

I'll get my coat.

Google balanitis, balanoposthitis, and phimosis. I promise you, getting your inflamed and infected foreskin squeezed with full force to prevent your penis head from rotting off due to cut off blood supply is not pleasant, and totally preventable. Guess how...

Listen, comparing male circumcision, with cutting off a woman's clitoris is akin to comparing ear piercing with cutting your ear off.

Just how common is all that though, and how preventable?

I have to say, of course you will defend it, being jewish and all.

So, to prevent something that is never going to affect most people we would conduct an unnecessary operation on every male child's private parts. Maybe we should cut off all women's breasts to prevent breast cancer (which I'm pretty sure is more common than the afflictions you describe).

99% of uncircumcised men have no problems. You talk like they're all writhing around in agony. It's a barbaric practice and a stop should be put to it....except in cases where medically necessary.

Perhaps seatbelts should also not be included in cars since most people will never need them.
This is a ridiculous response/defense.
