LOL...what? If they have all of those things then they are not just bigger smartphones are they. So, if I were to say that a laptop is a under-sized/mobile PC - I would also be wrong? White racists also think that non-white people are not people because they are not white and have several other different facial features, thus they should be classified as something else... |

If Apple were to release iPad-sized iPhone - would it automatically be classified as a tablet with a SIM-card? Based on what? Size? Or not classified as a tablet simply because it has a SIM card? |

Something amazing happened here. ![]() In fact, if you ever see anyone agree with me on anything - it is just me posting from a different username. I have so many of them - I have to keep 500Kb .doc file just for FM. Half the people you think are people are actually me in disguise ![]() Oh, just so you know, when asked why someone would or would not buy a tablet (when they just started coming out) on CNN interviews, replies frequently consisted of "I already have a smartphone, I don't need a bigger one". All those people who see a strong connection between smartphones and tablets are just morons. --- Post Update --- What, the, ****, are, you, on, about.... |

Ok, so he has replied.
Can anyone draw me a map that relates Brat's posts in this this thread with either: (1) the thread in general or (2) the post that he quoted in any particular post? Also, I need further explanation on the racist analogy. Reddog, mind translating that one? I feel like there is a lot of information here, just clouded by lots of emotion and possibly Red Bull. |

Insulting me is immature, but fine. Insulting those who agree with me and calling them names just because they agree with me is plain disrespectful to the entire FM. You know how insanely dumb you would look right now if you realized that reddog and I were actually 2 different people. But we're not - I had to use my second username to make my point... |

Which means that differentiating between smartphones and tablets based on SIM card is stupid, as it doesn't apply to all tablets. Someone mentioned SIM card existence as a way to differentiate between the two, and so I used it as an example just for them. Had you made a post saying that you want a wifi only, Android based device to play games on and having compared the two, the S3 works out the better option, then fine.. go for it, good choice. But you posted nonsense, followed by an odd rant. |

But YOU compared the S3 with a Nexus 7, which is stupid. That's what we're trying to tell you. I didn't say it was a way to differentiate between phones and tablets as that would be crazy. Nexus 7 is not like other top tablets in several ways and has these features: 1. It is much smaller than other tablets 2 It has a small screen 3. It lacks 3G/4G 4. It runs Android 4.1 5. It has fast/good hardware 6. It costs $200 Galaxy S III is very similar but also has more features: 1. It is larger than most smartphones 2. It has a big screen 3. It has 4G/LTE 4. It can and it will run Android 4.1 with either official ROMs or modded ones (which are much better!) 5. It has fast/good hardware 6. It costs $200/$150 if you sign up with AT&T or if you are qualified for a new phone, which renews your contract. Otherwise it costs $600-$800. Is it not visible how Galaxy S III is a winner if you manage to get it at $200? |

Nexus 7 was a present for my mommy on July 16th (and she has certain needs like not paying for another data plan because she's paying for mine already, so Wi-Fi only for her), and I wanted to get one myself, but I knew of S III and my Samsung Captive took a swim in my short in my pool, so I needed a new phone. Then I began looking into it and realized Galaxy S III is very similar to Nexus 7. |
