With no expectation for England, I'll actually be able to enjoy this one.

If I had to bet, you gotta go with Spain - although Holland look better than they have for a long long time.

Great thread Risco, appreciate all the info !

Going to be supporting Russia this time, I like the team they have good mix of experience and youth and talent. Advocaat is coaching them as well and I like his never say die attitude.

As much as I hope we'll win, I think it'll be a spain vs germany final.
Can't wait though!

Fairplay to them, this opener is a hell of a lot more entertaining than I was expecting Poland vs Greece to be!

Took out Greek forward when he was essentially clean through on goal. Straight red so misses next game.

Poland have got to be disappointed. Relatively entertaining game considering it was the first one.

Holland's only chance is if Germany or Portugal win/lose heavily. Otherwise this'll be a terrible tournament for them

--- Post Update ---

Yeah, BTW, refereeing is ****ing horrible this tournament.

Yup, Holland are dead in the water unless they can beat both Portugal and Germany.

That Germany first half, Jesus Christ, how boring was that. Second half picked up though... Portugal are out... talk about defensive.
