I don't believe it has an actual, literal, recognization of what a cat is (name). It finds patterns on words and correlation in picture structure.
Thats what I think, don't get me wrong it's definitely impressive. I just think the tech to do this has been here for years.

The algorithms used are supposed to imitate the human brains visual cortex or something hence the reason it was able to produce an image of what a cat may look like (in it's views). It also did the same with a human face.
Very impressive. AI is on it's way
