I haven't been to all of them, but if you weren't such a negative person you'd realise that they are different, not disappointing.
You sound like a mother trying to console her daughter who came in last at the school spelling bee.

I just realised what you remind me off, a spoiled only child.

What else would you do if you paid millions on IVF treatment then give birth to him? That's why he's in America http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...ies/laugh1.gif

It's a shame you weren't taught to play well with others as a child.

Don't get irritated, Bungle, you're not at home. Things, people, culture are different. That's why you went away in the first place, wasn't it? Don't expect to find the Tate in Newcastle... because you are in Newcastle. Open your mind a bit! http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo...lies/wink1.gif
So if I walk into an art gallery I shouldn't expect to see lots of art? http://www.discussworldissues.com/fo.../confused1.gif

And the Tate Modern is disappointing compared to MoMA, Centre Pompidou, Guggenheim Bilbao, New York and Venice. Just to put it in perspective.
If you say so.

And the lack of art, which is what post I quoted was referring to.

How would you know any different? I don't. But what I do know is that every time the subject of a UK cultural attraction comes up he always comes out with how some other attraction in New York/France is "better".

The UK has always played second fiddle to New York and Paris in terms of modern art. That's hardly controversial.

What is funny is that you think that you have anything to do with that.
