I'm currently sat in the King's Cross First Class Lounge. Prague, Krakow, Barcelona, Rome, Venice, Budapest, Valencia, Paris, Dublin and Madrid....I have either been to them or a close relative has (so trustworthy opinions). |

I've no problem flying. I've done it loads of times; but a long time ago. |

Went to the Baltic today. It was a bit disappointing tbh, especially compared to Tate Modern (in which I could, and have, spend several hours in). There were literally just 2 exhibits to see, and one being installed that you could view from a balcony. The lot could have barely filled one wing of one floor at the Tate. Disappointing for such a large building.
Oh, and I did enjoy the view from the viewing gallery. I waited to see the bridge open. It was supposed to happen at 4.05. Come that time, and nothing. I waited and waited, and still nothing, so I went downstairs. |

You should really consider some European travel. There are so many beautiful cities out there to visit...off the top of my head... Going to Madrid in September for a weekend break ![]() |

Fair point, but it's still cheap. I've been there about ten times now and have never felt ripped off. Now when visiting I make sure I stick to the non tourist restaurants. |

Oh don't get me wrong it's cheap by UK standards, but 2 to 3 times the price of other Polish towns. A large beer in Katowice is 4 - 5 zloty in Krakow I paid 12 zloty for the same. UK tourist towns bump up the prices as well. Can't really blame them, it's a captive market. |

Oh, and I found the way they refer to their staff as a "crew" a bit irritating tbh. They're an art gallery not a ship. ![]() |
