Thanks guys. I can't remember the 40's, but I can remember when Thatcher was elected, I can't remember when trains were invented but can pretty much remember the Apple II (my first computer was an Atari 400, first game Star Raiders).

Yes I got told off ny my English teacher at school for doing this. It does not really bother me though because I am not really bothered by it. Although it would be interesting to know what life was like 50 years ago, mainly because it would not be boring.
