Exciting concept. AWFUL logo. It's like one of those logos you get on FM when someone says "can someone design me a logo for free pls?".

It will be interesting to see how they plan to get the raw resources from space back to earth, because at some point it will surely be cheaper to manufacturer the goods on the moon and then ship the finished products back to earth. Which will mean a reason to colonise the moon.

Some serious people behind this.

This is important step. The success is still debatable. Someone has to open the game....

Success should be easy considering the price of materials, getting raw stuff down is very easy, getting to it is the hard part.

In theory, the hard bit is getting there and slowing the material down in Earth's gravitation field - see Kinetic Weapons...

It sounds very ambitious, and the time frame is pretty short too. If they can actually pull this off with any success then that's impressive. I suppose someone has to... it's not really within NASA's reach.

Think it's a pre-Mayan end of the world escape pod?

unlomarma 04-25-2012 08:13 PM
