Default Mother embarreses children publicly and online.
Apparently, 2 kids were playing Beyblades, in their family's bathtub. Apparently, the bathtub broke, breaking the faucet, soap dish, and cracking the tub. The mother then made them gather up their B.B.'s, took a picture of them crying, and posted it on the internet. She then sold the Beyblades online, raising the price up from about 40$ total to about 90$ because of the publicity. I thought that was jsut plain effing cruel. Kids will be kids right? But what do you guys think?

I wouldn't have posted their picture or anything, but I would have smashed their beyblades and grounded the kids for ages. They wouldn't have got their allowance for a year either.

I would never do that. Instead I would sigh and clean up the mess. And tell them that we do not do that. And then watch them from now on. I would never embarrass then publicly and online.

By the looks of things, they look like two little terrors....I wouldn't judge the mother based on this one incident. The poor woman is probably at her wits end with these two destroying things...and thus resorted to doing this to teach them a lesson in responsibility.

If things like this happened on a regular basis, I would be seeking two shrinks...one for the kids and one for myself.

That's all there is to it.

Bathtub > Beyblades. What she did seems to be what her emotions told her to do rather than what her reasoning told her to do.

The kids didn't buy themselves a Beystadium. Rule 1 of Beyblades is to always get a Stadium before buying the actual Beyblades. *Sigh*, but this mother clearly went overboard with what she did to her kids here, internationally humiliating them and such.

You cannot blame parents always though.

Parents can try and teach their child manners, teach them respect, teach them right from wrong, but if the kid just goes 'f*** off, bitch' and does it's own thing and does not listen, who is at fault?

They're little boys though. They're not adults with their own set of values, nor are they children with some brain malfunction that tells them they don't understand what they've done wrong. In that respect, I'm fairly sure they are "normal" kids.

Personally, I think the mother is just raging. They know what they've done wrong and they are genuinely sorry for it. I'm willing to believe that they are crying because they know what they did is wrong, rather than because what the mother is doing is humiliating them, mostly because I found myself in a similar position when I was little. And what's she's doing does close to nothing in resolving the matter at hand: Getting a new bathtub/shower. (I doubt anyone's going to pay a million for some Beyblades.)

lol idiot parent is idiot. Seriously, she was either not watching them when she should have been, or let them play with their beyblades in the tub. Selling their toys and posting images of them crying online is way over the top. I'd just take the toys off them and ground them for a week or something. It's not like they knew the bathtub was going to break.

On that note, how the hell do beyblades break a bathtub?
