Default Snowed In?
Is anyone else snowed in right now? I know I'm completely imobilized, trapped with my Grandma with a broke foot right now. My dad is trapped in the hospital with my other Grandma, who had a stroke and has been diagnosed with dimentia. And, almost every local road is closed. On top of that, my fiancee is stuck at home, so I can't see her either, bah. We did try something new though, a duel over the phone, any of you ever tried that before?

Anyway, I'm in the southeast U.S. and we've got almost a foot here, what about the rest of you?

Nope, even though I chill in AK and sorry to hear about your snow trouble, hopefully the sun will come!

I'll be sitting in 7-12 inches Wednesday morning. Got my plow truck ready to go though, 7-12 up here is nothing.

The south did get dumped on pretty good, that kind of snowfall is pretty unusual. Atlanta is pretty much shut down.

Yeah, it's VERY unusual around here. Normally, just three or four inches will shut everything down. Considering we got TEN, it's like Antartica, lol.

Even stranger, last night there was thunder and lightning with the snowfall, never seen that before.

Denver and its suburbs got a lot of snow. A couple private schools and other schools got closed, while my entire district got a delay.

I was snowed in at my sister's place for two days, almost three but her husband asked if I wanted to come home so we braved the weather.

Jeez, people are throwing rumors around for two back-to-back storms where I live this week. @_@ This is not kosher, at all.

I am not snowed in, in fact, its been the driest January for Northern Arizona in 40 YEARS!!! But last year around Jan. 23rd I got snowed in for a week, that sucked, esp. since the closest town is about a 10-15 minute drive, and the closest store is a convenience store a good mile away...
