Default Brilliant Facebook bit of info - all must see
Go to your :

Account
Account Setting
Account Security

You can see if anyone has logged into your account on a device other than the machine you normally use.

You can also set it so it sends you an email if someone else logs in.

I've just found out that 4 days ago someone logged into my account in the exact area (from the IP address) my ex lived in. Interesting!!!

I havent changed my password to see if this happens again

Gmail also has this 'feature'.
My gmail account itself informed me that my account has been accessed from somewhere in China. I did change my password immediately.

Geez, guys, one of the first things you should have done when breaking up with a girl is changing your passwords - then the door locks...

I did this, to discover my current GF was checking on me to see if I was fooling with my EX. I wasn't but it was a weird way to find out.

I'm also getting hits from GFs house. It's weird though, I broke up with her like 8 months ago, changed my password and haven't been to her house since. Maybe it's someone else in the same city.

One of my exes was using my Gmail account to intercept any messages from FB.

I only use Gmail occasionally so wasn't that flustered when I appeared to have forgotten my password (I have about 20).

Turns out she was answering the security question and re-setting it, very sneaky.

So word of warning, make sure your security question is personal to you and to you alone, something that you would not tell anyone.

Great post!

It seems all my logins in recent times have been legitimate for gmail and facebook. So I guess my passwords are of good strength and my security questions are typically things I only know. I hate security questions that you have like 4 options to choose from and there is a good chance someone else would know it. I like sites that let you make your own up.

It's a good thing that people are being more vigilant about security these days at lest with websites with a lot of personal information. I find many people with mobile phones don't bother and you can pretty much access everything and anything personal without a password since they don't secure their phones! It's only a new thing really that smart phones are hitting the masses.

Why would you even give your girlfriend your Facebook password? Do you give them your bank ATM card PIN as well?
