Default Would an US Onion be so kind and send me a 2600k?
Seems like they're not available here, and if they are, they cost a fortune.

I'd send the money via paypal in advance of course. I know of the "danger" that customs opens the package and I'd have to pay the VAT, but at least I'd still have a CPU then.

I dont know how much shipping would be, but newegg has them for 329 USD with free shipping (or maybe you know a cheaper e-tailer?), so I'd only have to pay for the shipping from your place to Germany. Maybe you could send the CPU in an "unsuspicious" package and send the receipt via e-mail, so they wont see it as an imported item but a gift from grandma, lol.

The thing is, I sold my old stuff, and now I'm without a PC. Hehe, didnt expect the 2600k to be sold out in the cheaper shops.

If it doesnt work out its not the end of the world, I'd just have to wait longer, but I thought asking doesnt hurt.

You could always order one from here http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showpr...odid=CP-358-IN

Their shipping it not bad around Europe.

Obviously the price may still be an issue?

Thanks for taking the effort to reply, but just like you said, that wouldnt make sense since those prices are very high too.

I could possibly do it.

I have tons of USPS Priority Mail boxes, which takes about ~5 days to get to EU/UK area.

Shipping I believe is somewhere around $11-13.

Newegg shipping is pretty fast to me here in AZ. I know how to get it through customs without a check... had to do it with Fragrance sold on eBay to a buyer in London.

Let me know.

Same here, I could do it. I ship international all the time. Sold an iPhone to a Russian, an XBOX360 to Warhead84 (??) on these forums from So Africa, A PS3/iPod to a Canadian (LOL).

I have UPS discounts at work too, just pay first.

Thank you very much for your offers guys. Could you PM me the total price in USD you would need to do this. As I said, I'd pay in advance. I mean price for CPU + shipping from the etailer to you + shipping to me Germany, plus a small fee for your effort lol.

If you know how to get the package through customs without being opened you get the deal hehehe (so far I didnt have any luck with that lol)

I think that your best bet is to find someone who would get it from Microcenter. They've got them for $279.99, while Newegg has them for 329.99. Even with tax that probably saves you $20 or $30.

Wow, thats actually a great price. I cant believe how we get raped over here again and again.

Soooo... anyone living near a Microcenter?

But even if not, newegg would be ok. I dont want to cause too much hassle.

They open all the mail?
I thought that they just checked to see what it is so that you end up having to pay like an import tax type thing, but usually if you mark it as a gift, you don't have to pay taxes.

I'd do it as well, but I'd be the most expensive one here most likely.
I could get the CPU from Newegg for $330 + tax which is near $350 and most likely will get to my house next day, though not 100% gaurunteed. Just depends if they have any in Memphis wearhouse. Or I could it it from like Amazon for the $330, no taxes but take like 5 days to get here.

Plus it looks like USPS is $15 for 6 to 10 day shipping (if it fits in the small flat rate box) + insurance, confirmation, blah blah.
$45 for 3 to 5 days and $100 for 1 to 3 day. All very rough estimates though.

If your interested, just PM me your address so that I could get you a better quote.

If you do it...
Normal US Postal Service with priority.

Write down Computer Parts. Let the parcel look as if it was sent as second hand item. In other words, just remove any crap thats on the box and tape your own printed out adress on it etc...

It shouldn't cause any probs at customs and no extra TAX will be added.

If you think simply making a package as "gift" will fool C&E in the UK you are...well wrong.
With so many people now attempting to get around charges, it's actually packages marked up as such which attract the most attention.
