Default The stupid crap we see on TV
House also has his cane on the wrong side. You're supposed to have the cane on the opposite side of the injured leg. That's why he limps along. Not much of a doctor.

This doesn't make a damn bit of sense.

I was on crutches and cane for a year following a motorcycle accident

So you're clearly an idiot and none of us should be listening to your nonsensical ramblings about canes.

Back on topic, I struggle when I find myself at someone else's house and being forced to watch horrendous crap on television. Even worse, they don't even mute the ****ing adverts.

What's the point of a mute button when you don't use it correctly?

Yeah, I'm the one that's clearly an idiot.

Quoting a rural health care site that looks like it was designed in 1995 doesn't exactly make you look intelligent.

If we're going to turn this into a retarded contest of non-authoritative linking...

Bear weight on the proper side. You should hold your cane on the same side of your body that your injury is on. If you are using the cane for general mobility rather than an injury, hold the cane using your dominant hand and bear weight on this side of your body. This will make the cane bear the majority of your weight, as well as the impact caused by your motion when walking. http://www.ehow.com/how_2050240_use-...#ixzz14q4099Ju

I think the fact that my site is actually advanced enough to support comments makes it superior to the two previous examples.

I'm tired of waiting for you morons to arrive at the right answer, so I'll just tell you that different types of injuries necessitate different styles of cane usage and that Dr. Gregory House's severe leg injury clearly requires that he use his cane for support on the side of his injured leg. The man is missing a huge chunk of muscle in his leg, for god's sake.

Upper body strain is a common ailment amongst people with severe leg injuries that necessitate use of a cane on their injured side. They put a lot of pressure on the cane and their arms because the leg can't handle it.

That doesn't make a rat's ass bit of difference. 2 +2= 4, even for the dense doctor, and you.

**** me! I've seen it all now - a heated Poly 'debate' as to what is the correct use of a cane when someone has an injured leg!!!

Keep up the good work, guys!

You're right. This is nothing. For a heated debate on Poly, the issue of what the correct use of a cane is, needs to boil over into several other threads, spark vendettas, multiple bannings etc, all out name calling between US and Euro posters, accusations of paedophilia etc...

And that would be just the start!

Ah... Elizabeth Hasselbeck. A perfect example of the Inverse Law of Attractiveness of Wives and Athletic Talent of Husbands. She's married to this career backup former QB:

Other notable cases of the law include Jeff Garcia and Hank Baskett.

It's probably envy.

Of whom, it remains to be seen.

Who made an Alby is gay joke?

I'm referring simply to his asexual, lone wolf nature.

I was actually impressed with the songs they choose for the show. They did not shy away from the "racy" numbers. With just a few minor issues, I enjoyed it considerably.

I was a big fan of Rocky Horror. I only took offense to who they cast as the DR on Glee. Everyone else did a good job.

Have listened to it a few times on my ipod. And forced my wife (who was not a big fan) to watch the DVD once. (right afterwards)
For the record, I used to get dressed up and go on stage. But that was many years ago.

That episode was much more entertaining than when they do a theme based on CHIC songs.
