Default Mid-spring
Some blooms to share... Obviously not mine.. I didn't take note of the names, sorry.

Clivea, a very common landscape plant here:

Pink mesembryanthemum amidst cacti and succulents:

Large pink-flowered bromeliad (Puya sp.):

Very alien-like life form. Looks like a chrysanthemum without any petals...

Kangaroo's paw (Anigozanthos):

Look what I found flowering in the greenhouse, Bifrenaria harrisoniae..! With 5 spikes, but they were lying low against the ground...

Yellow broccoli on trees...? Quite cute and fragrant...

Purple pom-poms:

This kinda looks like an orchid from a distance... A narcissus species:

Thanks, Dot... But I'm glad I won't be here when summer comes... I certainly am not looking forward to 45 degrees Celsius days... BTW, pics were taken at the Botanic Gardens...

Hey is that the same Kangaroo Paw we have native to Australia? If so I am impressed it also grows so well there considering its natural environment.
