I was really hoping he would write a follow up to his "The (Mis)Behavior of Markets".

Also, the importance of his work is vastly overstated in the popular press because it has a pretty picture to go with it.

It did take him a long time to get tenure.

Then again, he did get tenure at Yale.

It's fairly likely that he was smarter than I am, but I'm not regularly lauded in the popular press as an exceptional mathematician.
