I don't know whether this is in the right section so sorry if it isn't.

Basically, I had a gift when I was younger of predicting the future, healing, speaking to animals and being able to astral travel whenever I wanted with almost no effort at all. I developed Clinical depression at 17 and since then, I've found it incredibly hard to get back what I once had. I obviously gave up feeling anything for anyone during the early days of my depression (it's quite a selfish disorder as I was always thinking of others before I got depressed) and I finally started feeling better at 24 and had my daugther. I got PND and went downhill for a while then I moved , had another baby girl and now at nearly 29, I finally feel I'm mentally strong again. My question is, is it possible for me to reach a higher state and get back the gifts I once had or has the medication blocked that part of my brain off? I have tried meditating with no results. Is the saying, 'use it or lose it' true? I haven't taken any meds in a longtime by the way.

Oh and as a sidenote, a so-called good witch binded me cuz she didn't like me (I saw right through her and she knew it as she was trying to con my friend) back in 2007. Would this be a reason for me not being able to get to my basic pyschic level?
