Default Playing at a private place
I am going t o a very nice, private course Thursday. I usually play cheap, municipal courses. Any rules, etiquette tips, ect, that would be different here?

Dress appropriately, take your hat off in the club house, follow the course rules concerning your divots and pitch marks, say yes sir/no sir, yes ma'am/no ma'am, respect the course and staff and by all means, have a great time!

Be respectful and wear appropriate clothing. Collared shirt and nice shorts (or pants depending on weather).

Otherwise just have fun and treat the people and the course like you are a guest!

Be ready for FAST greens. Even though it's not etiquette spend time on the pratice green. Just respect everyone and don't earn yourself a bad reputation. Oh, and lean away from denim.

It's best to be safe and switch shoes, especially if they are metal. (Which they probably aren't.)

I would bring 2 or 3 $5 bills just in case. A lot of places have people that clean your clubs after your round and carry them to the bag drop, etc. Its nice to drop them a 5 and a sincere thanks. You'll have a pretty good idea who you need to tip (if you'll need to tip) based on the service they offer you.

Oh, alright.
Umm, I have not had a haircutt in a while, so it is alittle shaggy. Big problem?

If you're a guest, it may be your host will handle the tipping, especially since you're a kid. Try not to moon walk on the greens in your golf shoes. I know you kids like to moon walk. I've seen young people doing it at weddings.

Thats what I figured. It might look odd seeing a 16 year old pressing bills into another teens hand...

Is the electric slide okay?
