Dress appropriately, take your hat off in the club house, follow the course rules concerning your divots and pitch marks, say yes sir/no sir, yes ma'am/no ma'am, respect the course and staff and by all means, have a great time!
I am going t o a very nice, private course Thursday. I usually play cheap, municipal courses. Any rules, etiquette tips, ect, that would be different here? |

I would bring 2 or 3 $5 bills just in case. A lot of places have people that clean your clubs after your round and carry them to the bag drop, etc. Its nice to drop them a 5 and a sincere thanks. You'll have a pretty good idea who you need to tip (if you'll need to tip) based on the service they offer you.

If you're a guess, it may be your host will handle the tipping, especially since you're a kid. Try not to moon walk on the greens in your golf shoes. I know you kids like to moon walk. I've seen young people doing it at weddings. Is the electric slide okay? |
