Default Same course each week or new course each week
Fellow THP'ers,

If you could only play one course each week, would you rather play at the same course each week or hop around every week to different local courses?

I see pros and cons to each. Looking to see what you all would do.

What if the same course every week was TPC of Michigan, would you stay there every week?

I like playing different courses. It is a lot of fun to experience new tracks IMO

I'm greedy ... I'd like a little bit of both.

If at all possible I would prefer to play at a different course each week. Sometimes the financials don't work out, but it is what I prefer.

I like to play the field. I've never been able to settle down with just one golf course for the rest of my life. I'm always looking for a little strange.

If I have to choose one or the other, I would like to play different course each week. It will be always challenging...

I prfer to p[lay different courses and spice up the weekend but when my wife plays, we tend to go to a small course with very few people (mostly just us) as she tends to play on the slow side and likes the relaxation of not having a bunch of people watching/waiting on her.

I like the variety of playing on different courses, but there will always be those special ones you go back to often.

I usually play the same course over and over again. But that's because it's free or I have a membership.

Hmmmm says the married guy!

Well I'm a member at a course that I play multiple times at every week, instead of hopping around from course to course so my answer is clear.

I voted for playing the same course.. While I enjoy trying new things, I don't care for some of the silly, non-visible nuances of a course I've never played before.

Plus, I love my home course. It's a challenge every time I play it, and it's almost always something new to deal with or try.

A different course each week, I find that when I play different courses other than the "home" course if forces me to play more aware, it drives course management to the forefront. Further I find that I play safer with a tee ball with the unknowns variables that are present at each tee box specifically. Just food for thought IMO

I actually do this now, but I would much rather get familiar with a course and keep playing it!

Variety. Nothing is more exciting to me than walking up to the first tee and having no past memories of where I've ht it before. I'm usually much more into my round instead of just zoning out or losing focus.

I enjoy playing new courses, but I also love playing my home course because it just feels right. I find myself going back when I need a little confidence boost before I venture out to another different course.

For people learning I would play as much as I could on one course till your game and confidence are good enough to play different courses. But for those who are looking to learn more aspects of the game and fine tune all your shots play as many courses as you can.
