does this count?

At the outing I hit one off a tree that came flying back and me and nailed me in the knee
That counts as one of the funniest!

hahahaha not to make light of the seriousness of the subject but I saw you on the ground and thought you took one to the noggin. Glad it was only your knee

I havn't been hit but got paired with a random at Cog Hill once who was smoked in the knee while we were standing on the tee box, he ended up leaving after the next hole, looked pretty bad.

I was playing with my Dad once, and I was sitting in the driver seat of the cart and he was about 10 yards away hitting his second shot. He hit the ball off the very tip of the toe of the club and it came directly into the side of my knee. No real injury, but it felt like being shot (I'd imagine).
I had something like that happen to me. I was sitting in a cart and my brother was hitting his ball which was about 10 yards to the left and behind the cart, he hits a massive slice that comes shooting through the cart. Thankfully it missed me. My brother couldn't stop laughing, but I was pissed off.

Twice...

First time was 15 years ago.
I was a passenger in the cart. The driver pulled up in front of his ball just a little. I didn't think I was in any danger since he was a pretty good player.
This time...not so good. He toed his 5 wood and the ball hit me in the left elbow...knocking me out of the cart.
Luckily all it was a soft tissue injury only...a knot the size of the ball instantly developed, but I was able to finish the round with the help of a couple of adult beverages, tylenol and a bag of ice.

Second time was 5 years ago.
Playing a team best ball, one of my team members is in the trap and tries to get out. No luck after 3 swings, so he picks it up.
I go to tend the flag for another member and am facing away from the trap. While I am holding the flag, the trap member decides to drop the ball and try one more time.....without telling me. The next thing I know, I am on my back, staring at the bright blue sky and all 3 teamates are standing over me asking if I was ok.
I didn't even feel the ball hit me behind my left ear from the bladed SW and was out for only a few seconds. I did feel the knot for the rest of the day and had to listen to the guy that hit me apologize over and over and over for the rest of the round.

Does anyone have video of this? That would be awesome to see.

I had a friend who did something similar. We were playing in a local scramble tournament and he duffed a tee shot. Ball went screaming into the natural area in front of us, hit a rock or something and bounced back directly at him and hit him in the chest (not very hard). The other 3 of us were rolling on the tee box laughing so hard.

Once been hit and once hit someone. When I got hit it was on the bounce but it still hurt a bit. I hear FORE, then the ball bounce so I thought I was ok. I uncover my head and stand up and it hit me in the head.

When I hit someone it was a snap hook drive that hit a guy who was sitting in his cart on the adjacent hole tee box. Hit him in the inner thigh.

What do you do when you hear "Fore!"? Do you cover your head and duck or turn around and look? I see people doing both.

Ive always been told that by the time you look, you'll be hit so I always duck first!

I've done that too! Hit the ball, it hit a tree, ricochet back and hit me in the gut. Left quite a welt.
